Trail Building in Dripping Springs, TX

Dripping Springs has grown fast along the Hwy 290 corridor west of Austin, but the land still feels like the Hill Country — rocky limestone ground, cedar-covered hills, and Onion Creek winding through some of the prettiest preserves in the area. Communities like Caliterra, Headwaters, and Belterra have dedicated open space that's perfect for hiking and mountain biking trails, and acreage neighborhoods like Ranches at Hamilton Pool and Sunset Canyon have the terrain for private trail systems worth building. We work throughout this corridor on everything from HOA nature trails to singletrack. That rocky ground is great for trails — durable, good drainage — but the creek crossings will wash out if you don't build them for the floods that come through here.
