Trail Building in San Marcos, TX

San Marcos has the San Marcos River, Texas State, and some of the most interesting terrain on the I-35 corridor — spring-fed water, limestone bluffs, and wooded Hill Country ridges running right through the city. Neighborhoods like Blanco Vista along the Blanco River, La Cima near Purgatory Creek Natural Area, and Hunter's Hill all sit in terrain that's genuinely worth exploring on foot or bike. We build community greenway trails, nature loops, and private property paths throughout the area. The western side of San Marcos has real slopes and rocky ground — the kind that needs proper trail construction or it'll be a muddy mess after any significant rain.
